It was very special to all of us that Olivia's first big girl bed is the same bed her Daddy used to sleep in when he was a little boy - the bed that Grandpa made! She loves it and talks about it all the time - she loves to hear the story of how Grandpa made her big girl bed. We are so proud of her - and I freely admit that when we sold her crib to an adorable couple expecting their first baby I cried. I still remember when her little head fit in the palm of my hand and she was just an angry, screaming bundle of energy (some things haven't changed much, but at least she isn't angry anymore). :)
