Miscellaneous

We've done so many fun things with our babies this summer; I had to only choose a few fun moments to include. We are all very busy as usual - trying to squeeze as much fun as we can out of the next five weeks until Olivia starts preschool.

 They are just too cute for words. Lucas loves to wear hats and sunglasses and has kept them on as young as 13 months old.

 This particular apple didn't fall far from the tree. She loves shoes and got her first pedicure about a month ago :)

Olivia was very excited to find the little frog above after we got some good rain. And Kenan and I were able to kayak the river last weekend for the first time in about a year. It was so much fun!!

Olivia's Dance Photos

Here are Olivia's first dance photos. I will always remember getting these taken because Kenan was out of town so I had to bring Lucas with me and it was like something out of a comedy the way I was encouraging her to smile while chasing Lucas all over the place trying to keep him from being in other people's photographs. And since I was so busy keeping track of them both, not a single one of these was posed - she did them all on her own. I laughed so hard when I saw the final results. We love our little ham to bits and pieces!

Bluebonnet Pictures

We got great ones this year! Lauren Craney does a fantastic job; just when I think there's no way we got good pictures they always turn out well. 

Fire Station Visit

Uncle Kevin took Olivia and Lucas to the fire station in El Campo for their very first visit and they were thrilled! Olivia even honked the horn of the ambulance by accident and gave us all a heart attack ;) I think it's safe to say she had the time of her life and can't wait to go again.

Easter

We got to see all of our family at Easter and had a wonderful time. Holidays are so much more fun with babies to enjoy.

Lucas' First Haircut

Nana gave Lucas his first haircut when we went to visit at Easter and he looks like such a handsome little man now. I neglected to take an "after" picture but his hair is cut in all subsequent posts.

Best Daddy in the world!!

Wildlife Ranch

We did a mini spring break with the kids this year when Kenan took a couple of days off from work and took them to the Wildlife Ranch for an afternoon. With this one, you get on a trailer and the guide takes you all over the place so you can see and hand feed all of the animals, and there's a petting zoo at the end. They both really enjoyed themselves - Olivia was very excited and Lucas kept pointing out the different animals.
