Happy Independence Day

We took Olivia down to the river to play - she likes the sticks and the rocks

The next day we went to a party at the Machiceks'. Olivia loves their doggies but only when they don't get too close.

A Safari...right down the road?

Even thought it's about five miles from our house, we have never visited the Serengeti Resort so we decided to go there for dinner and a wildlife excursion on a date in late June. I'm thinking next time we might do it in December. It was VERY hot - but we got to feed a giraffe; the animals were magnificent.

I made friends with the camel. He was very greedy.
You actually can't feed the ostrich because they're very aggressive.
The lemurs liked the grapes Kenan gave them

Swimming

We tried swimming lessons this year since Olivia loves the water but she hated it and then she got a cold so we abandoned ship. However, we did an experiment and took her to the river where it was shallow enough for her to walk on her own holding our hands (instead of being held like in the pool) and she loved it. Our little girl is very independent!

Truck Work

Kenan has been working hard on his truck whenever he gets time and his Daddy came up to visit and work on the motor with him. We all had a great time and Olivia was happy to see her Grandma and Grandpa Bubela!
