Kenan took me out on a date last Thursday to see a movie and they had a photo booth at the theater. I could not believe the picture quality! (Also, aren't we cute?)

Happy Birthday, Kurt!
Kurt came down to visit us this weekend and we had a wonderful time together. We had a poker night at our house Friday night with a few friends, then Saturday the boys went on a mountain biking trip and Sunday they went on an ATV trip in Marble Falls:

Dining Room
Kenan painted the dining room for me yesterday and it looks amazing. We decided to only paint two of the walls since the other two are open to the house. Notice he also did an accent piece where the ceiling is arched:

Friends, Family, and Fun
We started off the weekend by going to Conroy's pub in Fair Oaks to see Mish Mash play. We had a great time with Erin and Brad singing along to the music ;) Saturday Kenan's Mom and Dad came into town for a visit - we had a great dinner here at the house and then went to church and antique shopping in Boerne on Sunday. Kenan also painted the dining room today - I'll have pictures of that soon!

That is One Good Looking Carpenter
I have never seen anyone in my life who is as talented with carpentry as my husband. This weekend he proves it again by building a mirror frame for the mirror in our bathroom. It would have cost a fortune to buy one, not to mention it's not exactly a standard size (40 by 80, anyone?) Here's what it looks like from start to finish:

Finished Fence
The fence is finished! It turned out beautifully and we are very pleased. Madison adores her new yard:
