Olivia's Baptism

Somehow I missed Olivia's baptism during all my postings. It was a wonderful day and we were very lucky to have our family there to celebrate with us. It was especially nice to have her baptized on Mother's Day (I was, too)

Happy Fathers Day

It was a special day for us this year - Kenan's first Father's Day. My daughter is fortunate to have a Daddy that is an outstanding husband to me, a wonderful father to her, and a very good man. We did our best to spoil him on his first official Father's Day. Last year Father's Day fell about three days after we found out we were expecting Olivia, so this year was very special to us.

Olivia's Fourth Month

Somehow Olivia is four months old already. She started rolling over shortly after her three month birthday, has discovered her hands, put everything in her mouth, and is about to get her first tooth. She is in the 60th percentile for height and weight and is not at all shy about telling Mom and Dad what she wants. She is the light of our life.

 Kenan has a gift for getting the best pictures and he was able to catch the pouty face :)

Memorial Day at church

Here are a couple of the out-takes from her four month pictures. It was hysterical. As usual, she would stop smiling the instant she saw the camera, so I took about 500 pictures that day.

Mondrik Family Reunion

I am going a bit out of order here but we had a family reunion on Saturday April 28 in Ganado for Kenan's maternal family - we had a good time and Olivia got to see lots of her relatives. It was her longest car ride by far and she did great!

Olivia's Third Month

Olivia's third month was a big one! She had her first cold, started sleeping in her crib, and is working on a tooth. She is also trying very hard to roll over and mimics sounds. She is very talkative! She was also baptized two days before her 3-month birthday :)

Olivia's Second Month

Somehow, Olivia is already two months old! It is hard to believe she is growing so quickly. She wears 3-6 month clothing and started sleeping through the night (8 or 9 hours at a time) at 6 weeks. We are blessed to have such a wonderful happy baby (she's really extraordinarily beautiful, too).

Olivia's First Month

It's hard to believe it's already been almost two months since we brought our beautiful baby girl home from the hospital. The first month is a total blur but we did manage to take some pictures:
